Quality, reliability and loyalty to the customers, that is what distinguishes Schomburg & Graf since its foundation in the year 1932. The foundation of Schomburg & Graf was based on the idea to set up a trade with heels. Shortly thereafter the heels were produced in own premises, and other materials for the shoe soling were added. Until today the production of rubber soling materials on own production plants belongs to the core activity of the company. Since 1948 Schomburg & Graf is a family run business that is exclusively lead by the family Graf.

Concerning synthetic substances, the company produced plastic balls until 1988 before handing over the production to a company of the game ball industry. In the year 1979 the production of PUR-soles (soles made of polyurethane) began. This kind of soles is indispensable in the modern shoe manufacturing.

Today the third generation of the family enterprise employs about 80 persons and is one of the most important manufacturers of soles for safety shoes and materials for the shoe repair and orthopedic sector. Nearly one million pairs of soles are produced at our location every year. We offer consultations and solutions in dialogue with our customers with regard to a long-term cooperation. We think that only in this way it is possible to create products that offer benefits to customers and end users such as e.g. a good workability.  In this context, we attach great importance on the fact that Schomburg & Graf is exclusively located in Wuppertal. This is a decisive advantage for realizing developments, suggestions and ideas in the interest of the customers.
